What is IAN?
A bigger stage for island athletes.
IAN is being built as a free online recruiting and athlete showcase platform focused on high school sports in American Samoa. The goal is to make athlete information easier to organize and discover while keeping student safety at the center.

IAN is being developed with safeguards for student-athletes as a core requirement. This preview does not collect or store account information.
Development preview only: account creation, verification, and profile publishing are not active yet. Please do not enter real student information.
Our planned safeguards
- Student profiles remain private or unpublished until required permissions and settings are in place.
- Personal phone numbers, personal email addresses, home addresses, and sensitive records will not be public by default.
- Coach and educator roles require verification; recruiter access will have a separate authorization process.
- Access rules will be enforced by the backend and database, not merely hidden in the interface.
- Reporting, blocking, moderation, account suspension, and data removal processes will be planned before launch.
- Student and guardian consent and school safeguarding procedures will be reviewed before real student accounts go live.

Frequently asked questions
Will IAN cost athletes money?
No. The platform is intended to be free for athletes and coaches. The project will use free-first infrastructure while we evaluate what is needed for a safe, reliable launch.
Do I need a highlight film?
No. A highlight film will not be required to create an account or begin a profile. Athletes will be able to add approved video links later.
Can everyone see my private information?
No private contact details should be public by default. The live system will use role-based permissions and profile visibility controls. Those features are not active in this preview.
Is IAN officially approved by ASDOE?
This website preview does not represent an endorsement or approval by ASDOE or any school. Stakeholder consultation and relevant safeguards must be addressed before launch.
